hahaha trip out dude! thanks for the post. well actually, it's just cris (the girl in the middle) who is based abroad now (boston i think). she's here for a couple of days. aimee and i are just here. that was a fun night. a lot of college friends came by.

PRINCESS BATO (the reunion pic)

This is my first co-blogging experience so pls. bear with me. I usually have a camera in hand and follow the indie scene especially the trip-hop experience of the indie unsigned Filipino band named Drip which has Beng Calma, the owner of this blog, as vocalist.

A few hours ago, they had a gig at The Room Upstairs (TRU), but I didn't have my camera with me so I didn't get to capture Cyril "Silverfilter" Sorongon's first ever gig at TRU and also his awesome, awesome minimalist techno set that reminded me of Richie "Plastikman" Hawtin's gig many years back in front of the now defunct 78Orange (later O Lives! and now Government).

Anyway two nights ago, Beng was at the Sigaw ni Maria Clara gig in Saguijo which was an annual two-night tribute organized by Ms. Aimee Marcos (of the band, The Dorques) to the month of March being Women's Month. The photo below is the first ever photo after a long, long, long time of that high school band called: PRINCESS BATO (ex-bandmates had to fly in from London and New York to make this photo possible):

thanks paul for fixing up this blog. had 2 gigs last night, the other one was at big sky. we were the second to the last band. saya. that place reminds me of the old days. food is still good. vibe is still pretty much the same. got home a little before 4am. was so ready to drop dead of tiredness. was up at 7am and in bed by 4am. konti na lang at 24-hour party people na ang nangyari nun, hehe.

today saturday was restful :-) no gigs tonight. will try and sleep early, yay. happiness.
